Why is it important?
Recent studies and reports show that Azerbaijani state has made certain progress in its fight with corruption. This article assess the population's readiness to support this top-down anti-corruption achievements through grassroots perspective. Hence, the article focuses on measuring and describing the degree to which the population can practice corruption and tolerate it.
Perspectives
Top down government fight with corruption is only half of the story - another half lies with the readiness of common people to reject it in their practice. Only by considering both demand and supply of corruption, academia can successfully explain corruption, its causes and dynamics.
