This study attempts to evaluate job satisfaction of bank officers in Bangladesh. It focuses on the relative importance of job satisfaction factors and their impacts on the overall job satisfaction of officers. It also investigates the impacts of bank type, work experience, age, and sex differences on the attitudes toward job Satisfaction.

Why is it important?

The study on job satisfaction of bank officers of Bangladesh is important for the improvement of the productivity of the officers especially in public sector banks which is connected to the economic development of the country. The result shows that the private bank officers have higher level of job satisfaction than those from public sectors as they enjoy better facilities and supportive work environment.
