What is it about?
The aim of this research is to find out how suitable the Ampenan Old Town Tourism Area is in supporting the concept of sustainable Lombok tourism. Where this suitability will be based on tourism components (attractions, amenities, accessibility and institutions) which will then be reviewed based on sustainable aspects, namely economic, social and environmental.

Several points in Ampenan are designated as strategic areas from the point of view of fast economic growth, strategic areas from the point of view of socio-cultural interests, and strategic areas from the point of view of the function and carrying capacity of the environment. This area is also included in the coastal tourism area development plan
