Why is it important?

The research results show that the factors influencing the sale of agricultural land are the price of agricultural land, the status of the land as inherited land, the amount of needs/expenses, income from agricultural products and professions outside the agricultural sector. Meanwhile, in terms of selecting housing locations, conversion of agricultural land is influenced by accessibility, socio-economic facilities, environment and land prices.

Perspectives

The current development of the city tends increasingly rapidly as urban areas expand. Expansion of urban areas occurs due to the increase in population in that area. An increase in population results in an increase the need for land used to accommodate each of the population's activities.
