What is it about?

This paper explains how new smart technologies, like intelligent automation, can help organizations work better and make stronger business decisions. By looking at the “big picture” and connecting different parts of a company, we show how technology can improve teamwork, adapt to changes, and guide long-term plans. The study shares a simple framework that leaders can use to bring these tools into their business in a way that improves both day-to-day operations and overall strategy.

Why is it important?

This work is important because many organizations use automation only to speed up routine tasks, missing its bigger potential. Our approach shows how to link intelligent automation with long-term strategy, helping companies stay competitive, adapt to change, and innovate. This is timely as businesses face rapid digital disruption, and our framework offers a clear, practical way to turn technology into a driver of growth, resilience, and smarter decision-making.

Perspectives

From my perspective, this publication is more than just a study—it’s a call to rethink how we approach technology in organizations. Too often, automation is treated as a short-term fix rather than a strategic asset. By blending intelligent automation with systems thinking, I believe we can create organizations that are not only more efficient but also more adaptable, innovative, and human-centered. My hope is that this work inspires leaders to look beyond isolated processes and see automation as part of a living, interconnected system that drives lasting transformation.
