What is it about?

This study sought to examine the research where games are being used in preservice teacher education programs and what some of the critical variables are that prospective teachers need to be aware of if they want to use digital games in their future classrooms.

As games become more prevalent in classrooms it is important to know what the significant benefits are and how to achieve the best results.

Perspectives

The topic of games in education keeps popping up but is not being dealt with in a cohesive way. The topic appears sporadically in course outlines and the key benefits and opportunities need to be explored more carefully.
