What is it about?
We implement a case study of older adults of South Korea. We find that most of older adults in our sample show insufficency in computer training and they are expected to be encountered many difficulties in their daily lifes. In particular, most of older adults have a poor capability to manage Smart mobile phone.

Why is it important?
Today, most of developed countries transform their daily lives such as banking and administration into electronic framework such as electronic banking, e-government and online shopping. For the surivial of older adults in a new electronic society, it is necessary to train themselves using electronic instrument. This paper show the extent of preparation of older adults in coming electronic age.
Perspectives
This research shows the digital divide between younger generation and older generation. The policy implication is that it is necessary to retrain older adults in computer technology, since computer technology rapidly update their skill and knowledge.
