What is it about?
Discipline of students can lead to academic achievement. However, parents have a role to play and hence their monitoring of use of electronic media at home can enhance their discipline. This is in relation to programmes watched and amount of time spent on these devices at the expense of academic work. It is assumed that when parents do not care about what their children do at home, this can be reflected in behavior at school.
