What is it about?
This article explores the possibilities of examining intimate partner violence from a critical realist perspective. The article examines the relationship between enabling and counteracting factors based on previous research and highlights the problems of statistically determining when risk is highest, as we do not have access to all factors and as several factors may remain hidden from our empirical methods
