Electronic Health Records systems are being implemented worldwide with the promise of its benefits and overlooking if anybody is ready to go through this disruptive change. In Jordan, it is being implemented at the national level with moderate levels of readiness among nurses.

I trust that strong change management programs may prepare healthcare systems for any large scale changes, which may increase the chances of successful EHRs system implementation. Such change management programs should be an essential part of implementation methodologies.
