Why is it important?
Nursing students need to have the opportunity to put their skills in to practise in a safe learning environment where they can reflect on their role and develop their individual strengths.
Perspectives
Nursing students are responsible for the wellbeing of patients, their family and for fellow colleagues. Witnessing a simulated event and the skilful way nurses demonstrate patient care, clinical knowledge, team working and leadership compelled me to reflect on my experience and the importance on simulation as a learning tool.
