What is it about?
Item analysis is a critical exercise that does have the potential for improving questionnaire items. In this study, I have demonstrated how item analysis played an important role in improving the psychometric properties of the said questionnaire.

Why is it important?
The previous versions of the questionnaire have their own limitation. The current version overcomes these limitations and is capable more in measuring nurses' knowledge of the content domain. This optimized version will be valuable for teaching faculty in academia, researchers, postgraduate nursing students, and others interested in the content domain.
Perspectives
Publishing this work was eventually successful after years and years of thinking about it.
