What is it about?

We review and draw implications from a series of ours and others' studies investigating the long-range impact of an implementation of an early math scale-up model based on learning trajectories. Lasting effectiveness includes persistence, sustainability, and diffusion.

Why is it important?

Early math is important throughout the life span. Scaling up educational interventions in the math is critical but under-researched. We show that a learning-trajectories-based intervention is very effective.

Perspectives

Implementing the learning-trajectories-based scale-up model across all grades will lead to substantial lasting positive effects on children’s learning of mathematics.
