Why is it important?
Children may not have all their thinking skills (cognitive functions) in good working order. The Feuerstein learning method is able to help children overcome their failures and enjoy learning. It can also enhance their hidden potentials.
Perspectives
This is an exploratory study of a small group of children in an average ability class in an urban school being exposed to this learning method for the first time. It is content free but addresses all the basic thinking strategies a child would require to be successful in school and for life. Learning to think is learning for life.
