Why is it important?
The use of this technique in water treatment will help save millions of naira often spent by the water board authorities especially in purchasing water treatment facilities. Again, the treatment agents used have excellent disinfection properties and are environmentally friendly.
Perspectives
The review will help further works in this area, as the challenges associated with wastewater treatment is enormous and the ordinary use of conventional means is not sufficient to ensure water safety and hygiene.
