Why is it important?
optimizing mandatory research requirements activities for ME master's degrees could strengthen future MER in Sudan and provides evidence for educational bodies, teachers, and policymakers in their methods and approaches and ensures the medical practice is aligned with health needs.
Perspectives
This priority-setting exercise offers the essential first step to inspire medical education research in Sudan as a discipline, and motivate focused systematic efforts that encourage the development of research culture. Further studies to ascertain the obstacles to medical education research and measures to overcome them are needed. A valuable piece of qualitative research epistemologically grounded in social constructionism.
