What is it about?

This paper shows the weight loss that can be achieved by real life customers who embark on a weight loss program using Lipotrim to replace their normal diet under the guidance of pharmacists. In approximately 3% of the pharmacies, the weight data recorded was placed anonymously on a central data-base and these data were used for the analyses (8724 customers). Approximately 50% of these data were from customers who consumed Lipotrim for at least 2 weeks and we report these data. Approximately a third of those customers displayed a linear weight loss (i.e. probably stuck rigidly to the Lipotrim instructions for a mean of 60 days) and we report these results separately for those who were not so rigid. Both groups lost weight. In the former group women lost 12 kg and men 16.5 kg. In the latter group, weight losses were approximately two thirds of the former.

Why is it important?

The study shows that a significant weight loss can be achieved if customers follow the weight loss program

Perspectives

I think the important point about the study is that the program for most people who do not have a medical problem, can be satisfactorily overseen by pharmacists. Where there are medical problems then the pharmacist works in conjunction with the physician.
