Why is it important?

Fast and efficient peer review relies of effective communication between editors, reviewers and authors. Much is written about the inefficiencies and impersonal nature of peer review systems - but this paper shows how those systems can be configured to provide a very personalised service, contrary to popular beliefs.

Perspectives

This paper draws from my personal experiences in peer review management, fine tuning automated systems to provide a highly personalised, attentive service.
