What is it about?
It is a rare congenital anomaly, In these cases, the heart lies outside the chest cavity. till today only 267 cases of this defect is published. this can be diagnosed before the birth of the child by ultrasonography.

It is important because the survival rate is zero with this abnormality. the staged operation is required after birth but chances of survival are bleak.
