What is it about?

Murtigading Village, located in Sanden District, Bantul Regency, has an area of ​​4.32 km2 and a population of 7,960 people. Almost 16% of the population is of elementary to high school age. Given the largest number of elementary schools in this village, the purpose of community service is to map road infrastructure and basic education and analyze accessibility to basic education services based on GIS, which is used in the preparation of the Village RPJM by the Village Government. The method used is descriptive qualitative with stages including secondary and primary data inventory, formatting and building GIS data, and spatial analysis and accessibility of basic education services with QGIS 3.10. 1. The data collected and used for this GIS-based analysis consists of regional administration data, road infrastructure, and elementary schools. The results of the analysis with the geoprocessing buffer are in the form of a spatial map of the distribution of elementary schools and a map of accessibility to basic education services. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that 6 elementary schools are located in the village center with varying accessibility if reached from 18 hamlets spread across Murtigading Village. Meanwhile, based on the 2019 Village Development Index, the average accessibility index value was 1, which means that the accessibility of all elementary schools in Murtigading Village is very good.
