What is it about?
This a cohort study of incidence of tuberculosis(TB) and TB infection conversion among contacts of pulmonary TB patients in function of vitamin D status.

Why is it important?
The relatioship between tuberculosis and vitamin D is known. However, many studies are reprospective: vitamin D is measured after the disease or infection. Our studies are prospectice. Vitamin D was measured before disease or infection.

The publication analyzes all results of this cohorte of TB contacts in Castellon (Spain)
