Why is it important?
Competitive bidding based on decision making under uncertainty in the form of subjectivity of the bidders. There are two aspect of for competitive bidding, namely economic aspect and strategy cost aspect. The approach for economic aspect is CCI (construction cost index) based on data obtained from the central bureau of statistics. The approach for strategy aspect is the difference between the actual contract unit price data and standard unit price that is analyzed with CCI. The competitive bidding is simple methods for contractors that concentrate their work in geographic locations that they understood clearly.
