What is it about?

The Book of Isaiah present the servant like the substitute of the King of Psalm 89, in the line of the Kings of Mesopotamia that proclaimed a year of liberation. But in a first time the anointing is attributed to Cyrus that permited the comeback of the Exile (Isaiah 45,1), in this same perspective. The personage of Is 61,1 appears in the continuity of the "servant" but he receives also an anointing, of a new type.

Why is it important?

This point that the "servant" of the Book of Isaiah appears like a substitute of the King.

Perspectives

In this way the perspective of the Book of Isaiah is very diferent of the perspective of the Book of Jeremy with an reafirmation of the dynasty. The Book of Isaiah is in the line of the Coraites, and the Book of Jeremy in the line of the Asafites, and of the Ezrahites after 1 Ch 15-16, in opposition to Psalms 88-89.
