What is it about?

The Asafites that pretended to be institued by David rejected the Coraites that proclaimed the end of the dynasty. The Ezrahites proclaimed also th end of the dynasty (Psalms 88 y 89; Heman and Etân), in a first time. But after they joined the Coraites that pretended to be institued by David (1 Ch 15-16)

Why is it important?

The Book of Jeremy must be understood in the perspective of the reafirmation of the Davidic dynasty, in relation to the Levites of the Temple that pretended to be institued by David

Perspectives

We have to see the part of the Levites in the redaction of the prophetic books. Isaiah is more in the line of the Coraites, that proclaimed the end of the dynasty.
