EFFECTS OF MANISA EXPORTERS’ INNOVATION CAPABILITIES ON EXPORT PERFORMANCES

What is it about?

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of innovation capabilities on export performances of exporting firms’ in Manisa. Analyses based on the data collected through questionnaires from exporter companies in Manisa show that firms have high levels of innovation capabilities and export performance. Dimensions of innovation capabilities are determined as Behavioral, Product-Process, Marketing and Strategic innovation capabilities. Dimensions of export performance are in the form of Financial Export Performance, Strategic Export Performance and Export Satisfaction. Product- process, behavioral and marketing innovation capabilities have been found to have an effect on enhancing the export performance of companies. Suggestions to increase export are presented to the researchers and managers of exporting or willing to export companies.
