What is it about?

We compare the legal characterisitcs of commercial arbitration in United Staates and Japan. We find that Japan is non-litigous relative to United States. The reason is that Japan's culture is based on Confucianism and collectivism. In contrast, the culture of United States is based on Rule of Law and strong individualism.
