What is it about?

We compared oral torsemide and furosemide in patients with heart failure to measure any pharmacokinetic or pharmacodynamic differences. Oral torsemide was not superior to furosemide in measures of renal tubular delivery or duration of action. A dose equivalence of ~40mg oral furosemide:10mg oral torsemide resulted in similar natriuresis. _x000D_
