What is it about?

Continuous research work is conducted on various platforms for the development of sustainable building materials. Through the article, the same has been aimed at by using industrial waste (co-fired blended ash) in the development of sustainable brick. The developed brick was found lighter in weight and possessed low thermal conductivity in comparison with fly ash bricks. The low thermal conductivity of the bricks was helpful in acting as a barrier from the ambient temperature variations throughout a year. Hence, the developed product helps in saving the mechanical energy required to maintain the indoor temperature within the standard comfortable range.
