What is it about?
The sins against nature had , at least, two different variations: bestiallity and sodomy. This last one had two versions: perfect (homoerotic) and imperfect ( heteroerotic) . Just a few Iberic Inquisitorial tribunals had the power to judge it -Portuguese and Valencian tribunals-, in the rest of the cases, it was part of civil jurisdiction. Nowadays, there were some people who were accussed in the Mexican Inquisition; the tribunal did not judge these persons, but it kept the accusations. These accusations shows how there were some sexual practices allowed by the law, but socially penalized.
