What is it about?
Patients on dialysis are clinically evaluated for volume excess during their treatment, based on their weight gain from the previous session, blood pressure and congestive symptoms and/or edema. They are often malnourished, due to inflammation and dietary restrictions. Bioimpedanciometry is an easy tool to help evaluate these parameters in this special population.

Why is it important?
Clinical evaluation of volume excess and nutrition is a try-and-error skill, and Bioimpedanciometry could help to refine this assessment in the dialysis population.
