What is it about?
The article titled "Relationship between some ISO standards in a conceptual knowledge management model" primarily aims to design a conceptual management model that represents the relationship between certain International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards and Knowledge Management (KM) models. The motivation behind this work is the observed insufficiency in the Colombian Technical Standard (NTC) ISO 30401, which considers that quality management, viewed from a mechanistic perspective, is not enough to effectively respond to current demands. The article highlights the importance of knowledge as a vital factor in contemporary economic phenomena and addresses issues like employee turnover and retention, which have serious implications for knowledge management.
