What is it about?

When an E. Coli outbreak occurred at XL Meats in Brooks, Alberta, Canada the corporate response was to sell the company to a new operator. This plant has been sold several times; each was subsequent to a PR crisis. The sale is examined via social media analysis.

This work represents a step forward in Actor-Network Theory to the examination of an event aas it occurs and is discussed in social media.

Perspectives

This is an extension of my work using Non-Corporeal Actants (NCA) previously the work had been primarily archival and historiographic; this brings a real time aspect.
