What is it about?

The article examines the LRA's history, leadership, and of greatest import, tactics with special reference to its use of women and children as the basis for creating a 'new Acholi'. The LRA is put into the context of other movements in different places and times who seek to build a new world along tribal or neo-tribal lines, often by means of genocide.
