What is it about?

It is generally claimed that Tyndale's 1525 "The Prologue to Romans" is a translation of Luther's "Preface to Romans". I produced an interlinear edition of Luther's and Tyndale's work, to discover where Tyndale disagreed with Luther, by altering or adding to Luther's work.

Why is it important?

I t is important because it shows where Tyndale's theology disagreed with Luther's theology, and that Tyndale's theology was independent of Luther, except in those doctrines that are common to practically all theologians.
