What is it about?
This is a primary study I undertook among indigenous people who are stakeholders of local environmental issues to know how they deal sustainably with environmental problems among them.

Why is it important?
Analysis of the data showed that indigenous ecological knowledge is a potential resource that can complement scientific means of dealing with the region's environmental problems.
Perspectives
I have through this study established that indigenous ecological knowledge is an important tool which cannot be ignored when environmental problems are being discussed, es[pecailly in the developing world.
