What is it about?
A process called "direct energy conversion", as it converts moving nuclear particle's kinetic energy into electric energy, without using the actual nuclear-thermo-mechano-electric conversion process, but direct nuclear into electric energy. It presents the previous work and the novel idea and developments as well the applications of ultra-high strategic and practical importance.

Why is it important?
Creating a high power, compact fission battery with conversion efficiency over 90% and power density over 10 kW per cubic centimeter, where the maximum actual power density is under 200 W/cc is important for space, under-water, air applications.
