What is it about?
A proxy of habitat disturbance (hemeroby) and the level of generalism have been correlated in a set of breeding bird communities. An interesting relationship supports our considerations about a possible intermediate-generalism hypothesis. Implications for conservation have been added.

Why is it important?
This is the first application of the intermediate-generalism hypothesis at community level.
