What is it about?

Purpose. Substantiation of drilling-and-blasting technology conducting that allowing to reduce quantity of hazard substances influencing on the level of ecological safety of underground mining of ores. Methods. Laboratory research of atmospheric air condition around mine location were conducted by means of the physical-chemical analysis. The normative technique of harmful substances concentration calculation in atmospheric air was used for definition of features of dispersion of ecologically hazard substances in the at-mosphere from ventilation shafts of mine. Findings. The research of ecological condition of atmospheric air near iron-ore mine has allowed to reveal regularities of changing the ground level concentration of ecologically hazard substances from distance to a ventilation shaft. Values of hazard indices at changing the distance from an emission source during usage of trotyl-content and emulsion explosives are established. Originality. Establishment of regularities of hazard index changing, depending on ground level concentration of ecologically hazard substances and distance to emission sources. Practical implications. The new technology of drilling-and-blasting operations conducting which assumes usage of environmentally-clean emulsion explosives during ore deposits mining by means of chamber devel-opment methods that will allow to lower ecologic hazard indices of harmful substances influence is proposed.
