What is it about?

The paper examines the robustness of direct (alternative) linear plots for generating kinetic parameters and if the values can be described as those that satisfy the condition for the validity of any of the quasi steady state approximations.

Why is it important?

In the light of the need for standardisation there is need to establish the condition for the validity of kinetic parameters; for instance either the condition that satisfies standard quasi steady state approximations or reverse quasi steady state approximations should be seen to be satisfied; activation or clearance of drugs by enzymes, in this regard, should be important to pharmaceutical companies.

Perspectives

This research article has enable me unveil a quantitative approach to the issue of quasi steady state approximations in enzyme kinetics.
