Hypophysectomy abolishes rhythms in rat thyroid hormones but not in the thyroid clock

What is it about?

We show for the first time existence of molecular clock on the rat thyroid follicle cells and provided indirect evidence that this clock is not involved in the daily rhythm of thyroid hormones secretion.
