Disruption of beta3 adrenergic receptor increases susceptibility to DIO in mouse

What is it about?

Our study shows that the absence of type 3 beta adrenoceptor worsens the diet-induced obesity. This is not due to a defect in brown adipose tissue thermogenesis, as it was expected, but to a defect in the white adipose tissue lipolysis.
