What is it about?
The paper was focused on the efficacy of extra dose of hydrocortisone during short term strenuous physical activity in patients with Addison’s disease. Similar data are missing in the literature and are essential for treatment long term outcomes since a considerable number of patients is still taking extra-dose of hydrocortisone prior or after short stress events and benefits and justification of these extra doses has been never demonstrated in controlled trials.
