Why is it important?

When it was published in 1976 the volume represented an important contribution to the international discussion of the topics that were relevant in the 1970ties of the 20th century. Perspectives

Today, the volume is interesting from the point of view of the history of Ethnohistoric studies an Prehispanic Mesoamerica, topics that were considered important at that time. It would be worthwhile to bring tham back to academic discussion again.
