What is it about?

A 5-volume lexicon of over 30,000 German colour terms (including compounds and derivatives, across all relevant word-classes) with textual examples from the 8th century to the present day, extracted from about 1,000 primary sources, including poetic and satirical texts, technical handbooks, other specialised works, older and newer dictionaries, and backed by a full range of secondary references.
