What is it about?

David Laibman’s “Passion and Patience” demonstrates that – the dogmatists notwithstanding – the lines separating Marxist schools of thinking are not indelible. In many cases syntheses and eclectic formulations that draw on different schools of Marxism offer extremely valuable insights into complex phenomena.

Perspectives

While many people view theory per se as inherently abstract and irrelevant, theoretical formulations are an essential part of the process of collective learning.
