What is it about?

The battery pack was built by using HCGJ cell model and the sizing of pack was calculated based on Indian Driving Cycle. Further, the battery pack was validated both in real time and simulation by providing pulse charge-discharge and Constant Current Constant Voltage profile.

Why is it important?

This article provides a method to model the battery pack from cell level to pack level, which in turn further useful for predicting the voltage across the pack. Accurate determination of voltage across the battery pack was necessary in order to predict the SOC estimation .Further an accurate SOC estimation will prolong battery life cycle.


This article helps the research to develop their own battery pack model ( cell to pack level) based on driving cycle for electric vehicle application
