Effect of Nano-MgO on the Durability of Cement-Based Materials

What is it about?

Nano-MgO can reduce the autogenous shrinkage of cement-based materials, but there are few reports on the durability of nano-MgO on cement-based materials. We studied the effect of nano-magnesium oxide on the durability (impermeability, crack resistance, sulfate corrosion resistance and freeze-thaw resistance) of cement-based materials, and found that nano-MgO improved the durability of cement-based materials.
