What is it about?

A row of holes is used to reduce the adverse effects of ground vibraitons generated by machine foundation. Field tests and 3D BEM are used to investigate the screening efficiency of a row of holes in saturated soil. The effects of parameters of a row of holes on the screening efficiency are studied numerically and discussed in detail.
