Accelerated Pavement Testing of Perpetual Pavement Test Sections under Heavy Aircraft Loading at FAA’s National Airport Pavement Test Facility

What is it about?

This study presents the results from full-scale accelerated pavement tests performed on perpetual pavements (thick asphalt concrete pavements) under heavy aircraft loading. Pavement performance data was used to validate new asphalt fatigue model incorporated in FAA's airport pavement design procedure FAARFIELD.
