Protection DNA from harmful damage is important to preserve genetic information. Using model system in which nucleotide and amino acid are connected by linker we proved the idea that damage of nucleotide by electron removal can be repaired within few microseconds by electron transfer from protein surrounding. Fast removal of electron hole in DNA by electron transfer from proteins is the core of repair process that protects DNA
